TAHFIDZ LEARNING METHODS IN SHAPING ISLAMIC CHARACTER AT AL FATTAH ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL SIDOARJO

This article reviews the concept of tahfidz learning to form better characters. study is motivated by effective and good but still lack akhalaqul karimah in scope education. The hadith also explains that adab more important than knowledge. approach this research use qualitative research. data source was conducted at Al-Fattah Sidoarjo Islamic Boarding School. collection techniques are carried out observation interviews. collected then analyzed qualitatively. results showed there a very method, namely muraja'ah method so students who memorize Qur'an have strong memory because they often repeat recitations memorized, many memorizers manners for others from their personal side, therefore must character, which has been exemplified Prophet Muhammad Saw.
